Success in robbery trial
Richard Padley and Oliver Pateman have secured acquittals for both of their clients charged with robbery.
They acted for the first and second of three defendants who were jointly charged with robbery, in a 7-day trial before HHJ Khan and a jury at Reading Crown Court. The incident took place in the street in broad daylight, was seen by an independent eyewitness, and was captured on CCTV.
