Archie Mackay and Josh Normanton instructed by Samir Pasha of MTC & Co Solicitors, acted variously for the owner, manager and a member of staff accused of a hostile and violent takeover of a well-known Indian restaurant.
Mobile phone footage of the incident attracted national news coverage and went viral. Over the course of five weeks at Isleworth Crown Court, Archie and Josh successfully demonstrated that it was in fact their clients who were in rightful occupation of the restaurant and who were defending themselves. The jury acquitted the defendants on all counts.
