Deanna Heer KC appears for the prosecution in Southport stabbings case
On 20th January 2025 Deanna Heer KC, on behalf of the prosecution, appeared before Mr Justice Goose at Liverpool Crown Court in the case against Axel Rudakubana who pleaded guilty to the murders of Alice da Silva Aguiar, Bebe King, and Elsie Dot Stancombe at a Taylor Swift themed dance party on 29th July 2024 in Southport, Merseyside . Rudakubana also pleaded guilty to ten counts of attempted murder, and possession of a knife, production of ricin and possession of an Al-Qaeda manual.
