Successful submission of no case to answer
Oliver Pateman made a successful submission of no case to answer before HHJ Blake at Reading Crown Court, instructed by Bhavna Kerai of Hallinan, Blackburn, Gittings and Nott Solicitors.
Oliver's client was charged with a single count of affray relating to a fight in a corner shop. Oliver's submissions brought the case to an end and he was able to convince the judge that no properly directed jury could have convicted his client.
