Richard Padley defends in violent disorder arising from Bell Hotel protests
Richard Padley represented Martin Peagram in proceedings arising from the violent disorder that occurred following well publicised protests outside the Bell Hotel in Epping. Mr Peagram pleaded guilty to a single count of violent disorder that arose from protests taking place in Epping in relation to immigration
The Judge accepted mitigation in relation to Mr Peagram’s home and family circumstances, and the effect of a sentence of immediate imprisonment upon innocent third parties. Ultimately a sentence of 2 years 2 months was imposed.
