Dr Aparna Rao has been appointed as a Recorder
Chambers are delighted to announce that Dr Aparna Rao has been appointed a Recorder.
The appointment is by The King, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable David Lammy MP, and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, The Right Honourable the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill. The appointment will take effect as of today’s date 8 June 2026.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed Dr Rao to the South Eastern Circuit in the Crime Jurisdiction.
This is a part-time role and Dr Rao will continue to practice from Chambers.
