Emma Deacon, leading Robert Dalling, secured guilty verdicts on a 15 count indictment against three defendants following a trial at Chelmsford Crown Court lasting three and a half months.
The case concerned a substantial factoring fraud perpetrated against a major high street bank involving fictitious invoices issued to an NHS Trust. The two principal defendants were also convicted of offences contrary to the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986 in respect of six limited companies as a result of their breaches of directors disqualification orders.
Sentence is due to take place at the end of February. Emma and Robert were instructed by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.
