Environmental law and health & safety law are both areas of rapid development, drawing on a wide range of domestic and EC statute, encompassing issues of human rights and both corporate and personal criminal liability.

Examples of our recent work include:

	acting as counsel for Great Western Trains in the Southall fatal rail crash inquiry;
	acting for Balfour Beatty in the Hatfield rail disaster appeals;
	representing the defence in the Tebay rail disaster;
	representing a North Sea Oil company in connection with alleged dangerous driving practices;
	defending a major exhibition hall proprietor after stands collapsed at a pop concert; and
	advising on annual health and safety audits.
