Members of chambers are regularly instructed to prosecute and defend all levels of violent crime. While this practise area includes many of the simpler factual disputes to trouble the courts, it can also cover cases of great scale (such as a multi-handed prosecution for violent disorder), complexity (where, for example, there is a conflict of expert evidence) and sensitivity (as in a domestic incident in which children are called to give evidence).
