House Crash Drink Driver Receives Small Fine

Carolina Bracken secured a small fine and a short ban for a client who pleaded guilty to a serious case of drink driving. The client was found to be twice over the legal limit, after he was stopped by police having driven into the front of his friend’s house. Despite the significant aggravating features, and the extensive financial damage caused, the magistrates imposed a fine of less than £200, and allowed the client to reduce his disqualification by 25% if he completes a drink drive awareness course.

The case received extensive coverage in the local press: http://www.kentonline.co.uk/maidstone/news/crash-driver-appears-in-court-119637/
