Wide-ranging experience of defending and prosecuting criminal cases in England and of prosecuting in Hong Kong (Attorney General’s Chambers).
She spent two and a half years as an Advisory Lawyer with the DTI (Companies Investigations Division) where advice included s.447 investigations and s.432 inspections under the Companies Act 1985, Insider Dealing Inspections, the Disqualification of Directors, and Insolvency issues. She has acted as an Investigator in s.447 investigations and been appointed an Inspector in three insider dealing inspections under s.177 of the Financial Services Act 1986.
Recent experience includes prosecuting and defending in fraud trials, undercover drug supply operations, rape and murder trials. She has also been instructed as a Defence Junior in two cases of Insider Dealing.
