Deanna Heer prosecutes and defends all serious crime as a leading junior, alone and being led. She also specializes in Health and Safety Law and defends regulatory offences.

Prosecution
Deanna is on the Attorney General's list and is a CPS grade 4 prosecutor.

She has significant experience of prosecuting money laundering and fraud both as a led junior and alone. She has prosecuted successive multi-handed conspiracies to defraud the clearing banks involving identity theft, investigated by the City of London police and is currently being led by Amanda Pinto QC in the prosecution of a large scale conspiracy within the egg marketing industry prosecuted by DEFRA.

Deanna is particularly experienced in prosecuting serious organized crime. As a leading junior, she has prosecuted multi-handed conspiracies including, recently, a 13 - handed conspiracy to rob, investigated by the Flying Squad, and an 18-handed conspiracy to steal. As a led junior, Deanna has regularly been instructed by SOCA (previously the NCS) in large scale drugs conspiracies and has prosecuted organized criminal groups accused of armed robbery, and kidnap. As a result Deanna has particular experience in dealing with issues of PII and disclosure.

Defence
Deanna is an experienced defender. She has defended a wide range of criminal offences as a led junior and alone, including murder, serious violence, drugs conspiracies, sexual offences including historic allegations, child abduction, firearms, money laundering and fraud.

Health and Safety
Deanna prosecutes on behalf of the Health and Safety Executive. She has prosecuted allegations of gross negligence manslaughter and statutory breaches resulting in serious injury and death. She has prosecuted large companies, such as Corus UK plc and Keltbray Ltd, as well as sole traders.

Deanna also regularly defends alleged breaches of Health and Safety duties whether by large companies or smaller traders.

Regulatory/Tribunals
Deanna defends professionals accused of misconduct, including pharmacists appearing before the Disciplinary Tribunal of the RPSGB.
